There's a Blog for Us . . .
Welcome to the new DC Food Blog. For this inaugural edition, I’ve pasted up some of the recipes we have shared and made a comment or two on local restaurants. Make it your own! Right now, I would say my two favorites are Pasta Plus in Laurel, MD. and Aatish which is on the hill.
If they weren't so far away I love the Orginal Pancake Houses and the Diner in Adams Morgan. My food shame has got to be my attachment to Buca Di Beppo which has amazing service and great food.

this, i realize, is a late comment to an old post but this is one of my favorite topics so i simply have to share. faves are meskerem (the best ethopian food ever) , lauriol plaza has the best most scrumptious most delicious seafood enchiladas, and grill from ipanema which has blissfuly tasty savory coconutty seafood stews.
